|    New legal Win install over old pirated c    |

In mid-July, I purchased a Win 7 upgrade to Vista (for my wifes       machine --- I'm a die hard XP Pro user.) from Amazon.        Remember their return policy is limited to 30 days.        I installed the Win 7 and it worked fine for 30 days       ( just 3 days past the return period!) ,. Then up       comes a message that the Win 7 had to be validated.        When I entered the key, I get the fatal message ---       the Win 7 was an illegal copy!        I hounded AMZN for days and finally got agreement       to take a return -- but they just plan to send me another       copy. They said they were sure sorry they sold me       "used software".        So beware of Amazon software!!!        But my question --- will a new copy install correctly       over the mess I now have??              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
