   Can be anything.   
      
   Check the Event Logs for any error entries. Also check the *.LOG files in   
   the C:\WINDOWS folder and look for lines that report errors (near end of   
   file). Also check *.TXT files that has "log" text in the file name (e.g.:   
   "Setup log.txt").   
      
   One thing for sure is that it's not a hard drive error due to physical   
   sector damage or worn out. If it does, the harddisk LED will lit constantly,   
   and waiting a few seconds more will make the keyboard   
   CapsLock/NumLock/ScrollLock LEDs unresponsive and the mouse cursor may also   
   get unresponsive.
