   RAM 512 is kind of skinny for a 1.8MHz CPU. You need all the help you can get   
   to squeeze every drop of performance . 1G would be a starter, 2G better 3 is   
   MAX usable for XP   
      
   SP3 is stable. is RAM the reason to NOT install that?
