|    Deleting unused programs    |

From: jsowden@americansentry.net              In windows, MS sends upgrades which are saved in the remove/modify       programs section of the 'control panel' area. My interpretation is when       an upgrade/security fix, etc. is downloaded, it is then executed,       modifying the program on the local computer, and the downloaded program       is no longer needed. The problem is when I go to delete these from the       remove/modify listing, I get a message saying that the program "may not       work correctly". Are these downloaded programs still required? If so, why?              John              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
