   Problem is, I don't usually have a while, in fact I'm generally trying to   
   stabilise a high-bandwidth sense as quickly as possible in the hope that   
   it'll serve to anchor me in whatever state I'm in.

   I generally don't feel paralysed - not that I try to move any limbs, I'm   
   very aware of the danger of "snapping back".

   I do apply certain internal metrics to the experience; but actually I find   
   that attempting to recall long-term experiential memories is one of the   
   things which increases the intensity of the vibes.
