   Interesting question.   
   I'm not a frequent "flier" but have had several experiences, mostly in   
   the past.  I did have one experience that might qualify as an example of   
   proof.  It was more of a lucid dream really.  I became lucid while   
   asleep and ran into a friend.  When we saw each other in the "real" or   
   waking world we both remembered not only the particulars of the   
   surroundings but the events that took place.   
      
   Don't think that this helps as much as some of the other posts but I   
   believe it was as real as if we had met in a different city and shared   
   an experience.   
      
   Convinced me.
