Is that what it will       > be like?              Perhaps.              :-)              While you may indeed experience unusual things, which may well appear real       to you, there is no convincing evidence that these things are much more       than an unusual kind of hallucination.              That said, there is no reason to suppose that you won't enjoy them hugely.              However, I would be surprised if you were to learn anything of any       significance - most of the accounts of "astral realm" OBE's I've read are       just the same old trite bollocks that you always see.              You never find anyone discovering a new branch of science, or finding a       solution to a mathematical puzzle, or an explanation of why the various       physical constants are the way they are, etc.              IOW, I've never heard of an OBE in which anyone discovered anything that       wasn't either already known, trite, or wrong.              YMMV, of course.              But if you _could_ find a new planet, or a previously unknown satellite of       one of the gas giants, now _that_ would be interesting.              Never happened though. Wonder why that is ;-)              Please don't let my, IMO understandable, cynicism put you off.
