   What you describe is a deeply relaxed state, which is a good thing, but I   
   don't know if you can make it lead to an OBE. No harm in trying, though :-)   
   Have you ever, in the process of falling asleep or sleeping, found yourself   
   unable to move yet feeling awake?   
   That is the state you're looking for. Once in it, don't panic, no matter   
   what you see, hear or feel. That may be more difficult than you'd think.   
   Also, don't get all excited about it, which may be just as difficult.
