   No, he's not, if you look further through his example:   
   "sound waves strike a microphone and are changed into electromagnetic   
   current and (in this example) recorded on tape. Now:  take that microphone   
   and stick it in the headphone jack!  you can play back the sounds over the   
   microphone, transforming it into a speaker!  In this same way, our eyes   
   act like recording microphones, and when we THINK, they act as speakers!   
   Thus *information* can go both ways thru your eyes.  "The look that speaks
