   I've been looking for software off the shelf and cheap (or free).  I don't   
   have the time to write it myself as I'd have to start from scratch.  It   
   would be good to start with the negative too.  I don't know if the   
   resolution of the negative could support a higher resolution scan or not.   
   The website pics are 600dpi.  Perhaps I could get a government grant. ;-)
