   Well yes; but it's all pretty well known, you can do the same with   
   infra-sound too.  A far cry from the kind of nonsense people mean by   
   "psychotronic weapons".

   Not much, it's believed, IIRC, to be a simple AM of the volume of air   
   within the sinuses, conveyed by bone conduction to the inner ear.  Hardly   
   mind control - but you could use it to good effect on the gullible.   
      
   We skeptics would be immune, of course, protected by our almost mystical   
   powers of rational thought.  :-)   
      
   The same effects have been observed during meteor transits; which produce   
   a "sizzling" sound in some people.

   I know that the radar technicians at Dartmouth would regularly have to   
   remove the hard-boiled eggs from the nests the pigeons made in their radar
