   ways, and the older we get the harder it is to dislodge ourselves from the   
   grooves of habit of thought, word and deed we have dug for ouselves.   
   As a result, we may spend several lifetimes learning a single human lesson -   
   approaching it from different perspectives: male and female, rich and poor,   
   black and white - until we truly grok what we need to learn.  And then we   
   move on.
