   I haven't done it all that often.  I used to play around with it when I   
   was a kid, but since then I've only managed to do it intentionally twice   
   -- the motorcycle incident, and another case when I saw a scene on the   
   wall of well-dressed people at a party or reception of some kind.  It has   
   happened spontaneously a few times when I've been struggling to keep my   
   eyes open to avoid a powerful urge to fall asleep in a public place.  For   
   instance once I saw a  champagne glass manifest on the arm of my seat   
   while I was nodding off on a train. :-)
