   I have very low expectations of those who believe that UFO=alien - I've   
   also seen "grazing" meteors (those at such a shallow angle that they   
   only pass through the atmosphere) described as UFO's on multiple occasions.   
      
   There's quite a famous bit of footage, during which one of these meteors   
   breaks up which is described enthusiastically as smaller craft leaving the   
   mothership.   
      
   It's very sad.
