   There are any number of suggestion tricks you can use that may help.   
   Examples include: prying open your stuck dream eyelids; putting on   
   imaginary glasses; pulling imaginary covers from your face; going into   
   the OBE version of the bathroom and washing your eyes; calling out   
   "Clarity now!"; etc.

   I used to find that just having an ordinary nightlight on was helpful.   
   At the time my OBEs usually reflected the actual light level in the   
   room, so having some light in there made it more likely I'd be able to   
   see instead of being stuck in pitch blackness.  I'd often wake with my   
   physical eyes oriented on the lamp.
