       As to your conflict with powerlines, that is so wild.  Kind of   
   symbolically ironic even.  Your are playing off the power in the lines and   
   even dancing with them in a way.  I do know what you mean though as to   
   running into barriers though.  For me it has been windows. For some reason   
   often when I would try and go through a window, I would experience the   
   sensation of the glass stretching and I would have to flail my arms about to   
   clear myself of it.   
     I did have an experience with power lines in a dream once that was very   
   memorable and I should probably tell you about it but I can't right now so   
   it will have to wait.
