   Hi there again Richard.

   The message <4406a106$1_3@newspeer2.tds.net>
from "Dick Silk - The Computer Tutor" contains
   these words:

   > My master's degree in Sport Management was conferred on August 14th, 2004.

   Congrats! Well done.

   > Since then I've been keeping busy at menial jobs all paying under $33k, but
   > I'm hopeful to someday break that $35k barrier...

Kepp fingers crossed and CV's in the post.

   > Charles is as tall as I am (6'2") and basically reached that point by his
   > 13th birthday (well, he was 6' then...) and he's 14 now (as of last Jan
   > 8th.) Needless to say, he was a TALL 7th grader and is just as impressive
   > as an 8th grader. These days he's keeping busy playing guitar and wow-ing
   > his peers at the talent shows. I hope he goes far, whichever direction he
   > chooses.

They soon grow away, but keep coming back these days. They know which
   side there bread is buttered.

   > Keeping Joyce happy, on the other hand, is an enormous task. Right now,
   > she's only going to be happy if I get a job in Murfreesboro AND get a
   > house.
   > Tall orders... hope I can carry them out. I guess it's like the song goes:
   > "It's now or never....."

You can do it. You have to keep the little lady happy :)

   > What keeps you busy during retirement?

Apart from a clot on the lung??? :) They managed to dissolve it ok but
I'd sensed summat wrong long before an ambulance was required. I
actually walked into hospital....took them three weeks in total and a
   load of warferin and heperin.

I've been entertaining my grandson with assembling a RC car and flying
   an RC helicopter.

Got a gliding solo cert and have flown solo in a light aircraft. I
stopped short of the PPL. I reckon it's dangerouis up there despite what
the figures say. (Perhaps that's me :)
Had a go at a light helicopter and gyro-copter.
Been caravanning (just sold) and narrowboating.
Got a dayskippers certificate and radio licence.
   Done a bit of fishing.
Was going to uni to study but my hearing let me down so have taken up
   painting.
Had a go at watercolours and now I want to try oils.
Also looking to get this house ready for market and relocate. Next time
getting a narrowboat and house but let the house out whilst we cruise
the waterways. Not had time to get the amateur radios out of the loft
and go on air since we have been in this house but have kept the licence
going. In all this have maintained and communicated via our computers
   and LAN.

Busy busy busy, I don't know how I found the time to go to work. Been
finished now ..... good grief... ten years even this july.....!!!
Doesn't time fly! I get to pick up my OAP next year :)

So what's been happening since we last contacted? You got your 1st
Degree and then your Masters, well done. How did you find your courses?
Did you enjoy them? How long has it been? So Charles is now 14, I can't
remember how old he was when we last spoke. He'll soon be looking for
employment, maybe the music will take off?

I've done no more RV'ing, I'm of the opinion that it worked for me only
at certain times. Perhaps when everyone in the group was trying. I
didn't monitor and record the times and conditions sufficiently well to
be of future use. It worked best when the group were making a concerted
effort and that dropped of with the intrusion of YKW.
Having dabbled and experienced I recognised the need to record
methodically and in a manner that highlights the differences between
realtime visions and RV'ing visions. That still needs to be experimented
and recorded. I'm of the persuasion that when RV'ing the vision looks as
if it's speeded up because what is seen appears 'overly fast' to the
visions in realife. I have a couple of instances that confirms this when
   rerun in my mind.

Never mind, I might get back to it again. I certainly had sufficient
'experiences' to convince my skeptical self that I was levering a
difficult doorway and that it needed a lot of study. Naysayers get
underfoot and of course that's exactly what they wanted to do. I would
really like to successfully RV and record findings. I did some online
research but found it tiresome without company.
Now, most times I am just too tired and long for sleep :)
