Faith... That's a confusing one. I was raised Catholic but I became a seeker
in my teen years. I came to the conclusion that God was Truth and that
the devil was Fear. I liked the idea that we ascend to higher levels of
spirituality until we attain the sphere of God. I believe that some entity
greater than our comprehension put all of this in motion. I believe that
the purpose of physical existence is evolution of the gene. However,
I have no idea where that evolution is headed, what's the point of
evolution? I heard a philosopher state that our self awareness is
the evolution of the universe in becoming self aware.
I want to know that James is not dissolved into dust and his energy
scattered throughout the universe. I want to believe that we are
spiritual beings here for a purpose, to learn lessons then move on.
Perhaps if I had the sixth sense I could know that there is more to
this life than working until you can work no more then wither away.
Or, have your life taken accidentally before you've experienced
life fully. Hmmm... I may be rambling... How does one begin the
journey to knowing the spirit? Books? Seminars? Palmists?
   Sorry about that last one...
   Thanks for writing,
