Along the lines of the Unified String Theory where there are 11 dimensions,
the 11th being a thin thread that has an apparent infinite length, that, if
intersected by another 11th dimension will spawn a new universe that
   creates its own space...
This creation thing could have been going on for billions of billions of
   years
yielding billions upon billions of universes...
But then, what difference does that make?

I've come to the conclusion that I know there are people on this planet that
I can't comprehend... and by that I mean how they are able to conceive
concepts that change the direction of humanity, like Einstein, da Vinci,
Steven Hawking... well, anyway, if there are humans that far above my
mental capacity then trying to imagine who or what God is seems like a
waste of time. One concept I've read is that we evolve spiritually to be
able to comprehend more and more complex concepts... I like that...
eventually attaining the sphere of God. But then there remains, why?

I agree with you that we are evolving spiritually. But, could it be said
that it's just part of the evolution of the gene? Whatever it takes to
preserve the gene so that it will continue. If that means we have to be
more respectful to each other then that will eventually prevail. If it
means we have to care of the earth, eventually we will (I see this
   starting to happen.)

Oops... time to get back to work... Later, John D.
