   it was potter's mother covering him and saved him by her love for   
   him.... thats why voldemort couldn't kill him   
      
   however i have often wondered about the sorcerer's stone, sometimes   
   refered to as the philosopher's stone, robert bruce called it the   
   akashic records.....which controls the astral pulse.
