XPost: alt.paranormal.channeling       From: espeance@gmail.com              Follow up on these experiments:              First, I alternated between the seth exercise and peterson's technique, and       as the month wore on my frequency and intensity waned, and then picked up a       little bit towards the end              So I probably averaged at least 2 session per week, one of each, and I read       either before going to sleep, and then doing one, or after waking in the       middle of the night, or in the morning              When I read before sleeping I really relaxed and sought to understand and       picture what each exercise or technique was telling me to do, and made a       mental note of the sequence, because often times when I get into a deepened       state I can lapse and get lead into other areas in the middle of a sequence              What I noticed is that for me, on the nights I would do the seth exercise, I       had more results than the peterson technique, and different results       altogether, however one complimented the other              With peterson's technique I didn't have a lucid projection, but had some       quality meditative states, sense of expansion, kinesthetic disjunctions, and       clairvoyance, I really got into the quiescing the mind bit and being an       observer, and realized more how important this is for psychic exploration       and projection, my visualization of an object and swaying were minimal at       best, I've done better at this before, and I wondered about just practicing       some visualization exercises, which led me to ruminate about the idea of       concentration alone, which I believe is probably key to lucid altered states              However, when I did the seth exercise, which was less about quiesing and       more a specific guided experience, I had significant dreams and dream       recall, the seth exercise opened me up, prepared me, and felt like it       reached my heart, my total being, transformative, the scale of the infinite       aware and energetic cosmos was brought down inside myself, indeed is myself,       I not only experienced single planets and star systems, but the breadth of       galaxies              Anyhow, I'm going to snip away from the original email and dig down to the       parts that I want to comment on, and then at the very end post an experience       for anybody that has the gumption to get through all of this . . .              > * from Session 637, 'The Nature of Personal Reality', Seth/Jane Roberts,       > (Embodying a Conscious and Vibrant Universe):              > influence its existence, but your recognition of the soul and entity can       > help you direct energies from these other dimensions into your daily life.              exciting, bringing in energy from other dimensions!              > nature and the physical framework - so do selves evolve' in terms of value       > fulfillment.              something I've been mulling over, is there really traditional "evolution"? I       appreciate this take on it, in terms of "value fulfillment"              > Souls are also creative psychic structures, ever-changing and yet always              what is a "psychic structure"?              > Now: When you are aware of the existence of the entity and of the soul, you       > can consciously draw upon their greater energy, understanding and strength.              more on the energy dynamics              > You are growing in consciousness; therefore using it expands its       > capabilities. They occur automatically with       > your intent if you do not block them through fear, doubt or opposing       > beliefs.              ok, consciousness is not a thing, but a feature or quality, of what though       (this feels like computer programming)?              To me this is big, about how we block the process of change, and relates to       a statement I recently read in the book "our inner conflicts" by horney,       that "Beliefs that are merely taken over and are not a part of us hardly       have sufficient strength to lead to conflicts or to serve as a guiding       principle in making decisions."              > multidimensional structure, spread out in an even richer dimension.
