   I do agree, some scientists can be as dogmatic as some religions, but I   
   always went by make your hypothesis and let reality be the judge (avoiding   
   contradictions).   
   Once you have had one of these though, it is very hard not to take them   
   seriously.  It feels so real at times and some environments are a lot more   
   stable than others.
