   Not always, Anyone who claims to have "real-world" OBE's is generally   
   claims that their perception is approximately as capable as that of their   
   embodied selves (they can usually recognise faces fairly well, for   
   example, even if they usually find some visual tasks difficult, such as   
   reading).

   You are also omitting all of the other arguments, animate vs inaminate and   
   so on, not to mention the vexed question of what computational substrate   
   the disembodied use to think with.
