   That happens to me. Once, I heard the door bell. But you know what   
   I see? Light. Some nights when I lie in bed going to sleep, my   
   vision begins to get brighter and brighter until it is filled with   
   light. There are usually objects also, but they seem to be of   
   little importance, part of whatever scene I am viewing in my mind.   
   The light gets as bright as daylight, even though my eyelids are   
   shut and the room is completely dark. It's quite neat, and hard to   
   believe that my eyes are shut. I look forward to it, but it   
   doesn't happen every night. It only lasts for a short while.
