   David, I am too old and too tired to play the irresistible force to your   
   immovable object. I love discussion, but there has to be an even playing   
   field and a common goal, hopefully to find the truth. We have different and,   
   possibly, opposing mindsets. When I was twenty I could have carried on for   
   hours in the real world, discussing all sorts of esoteric subjects but since   
   then I have learned that the discussion and its subject is less important   
   than the people involved and a gentle approach pleases me more than being   
   right. I am withdrawing from this discussion because I am weary of the old,   
   old tactics of argument. I merely want to find the "Truth", whatever that is   
   and I don't want to go down the well-worn path of thrust and parry, just for   
   the sake of it. Go in Peace and live well.
