   "Anecdotal" is an excuse not to consider similar events.  The overwhelming   
   existence of such facts is thus denied, as if the flood of swallows didn't   
   make spring because one doesn't.

   Absolutely, it's the limitations of science.  The human being is way to   
   complex to have any chance of reproducibility.  That's why the physicians   
   work with probabilities.  For some persons, there haven't be able to save   
   them, and for those same persons, it's all what matters, even if it is only   
   1% failure.  On the other hand, there are recoveries that aren't explainable   
   by medicine.  So, paranormal phenomena may be anecdotal, that doesn't make   
   them non existing, and even not unlikely.
