|    OOBE and Remote Viewing    |

From: michael.huxley5@btinternet.com              My first introduction to "Astral Travelling" or OOBE was through Dennis       Wheatley's "Ka of Gifford Hillary" and subsequent reading of non-fiction       books on the subject. This was all about 40 years ago.       More recently (started last year), I have been reading about Robert Monroe's       experiences in his books and about Remote Viewing, starting with David       Morehouse.              I was surprised to find just how different they seem to be. I would have       thought that Remote Viewing would have had the same characteristics as OOBE,       in that there would have been very clear sight of the place visited, but RV       seems to be much less "visiting" than "sensing" a target.              My question: Are OOBE's truly actual separation from the physical body and       experiencing distant places, events and even times which one can remember       upon return and that RV is just putting out "feelers" and only experiencing       a vague idea of the target area?              I have no personal experience of either, although I am planning to change       that this year. I am very confused about the whole thing, to tell you the       truth. MikeH              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
