   Kind of sad.  Usenet is perfect for discussions, but so many internet   
   newbies think the WWW *is* the internet.  Many don't even know usenet   
   exists, and the Google interface for posting hasn't helped.  People think   
   this is a message board.  And it seems like so many of the new people who   
   discover usenet only want to join for the binaries.
