   LOL I remember when I discovered flame wars.  I even got involved in a few   
   and just laughed myself silly at the whole experience.  I only wonder if   
   the other folks involved were really as angry as they seemed, or if they   
   were laughing, too.   
      
   As for the skeptics, I'd rather deal with a wide variety of personalities.   
   I've joined some e-mail discussion lists and some of them have gone to the   
   opposite extreme.  They have a set of beliefs, and if they're questioned at   
   all, even if you believe in the topic in general, you are banned from the   
   group permanently.  Some group owners feel the need to moderate everyone's   
   message.  I see all things as connected, but if the moderator doesn't see   
   the connection, the message is rejected.  I hate that, especially after   
   I've spent two hours composing it.
