   Actually, I do know what archetypes are. Thanks for asking.   
   But what I was talking about, if you read carefully, was the difference   
   between reporting an experience, and assigning meaning to them.   
      
   The former is always scientifically valid - the latter leaves you open   
   to having your assumptions questioned.

   Real to you, perhaps.  Real subjective phenomena, perhaps.  But you   
   cannot make the leap to saying that they're objective phenomena without
