Thank you for sharing. As far as I know I do not possess any fear about
being close to my physical body. But while awake my thoughts roam as I am
usually stuck in my house. Maybe this is the reason? I live in Tennessee
and sometimes when I leave me body I am at my old house about 5 miles from
my current location; then sometimes I am 1,000's miles away, often in Europe
and once or twice in China. Nothing about those other countries draw me
there to my knowlsdge. While awake and at home I often feel that my mind is
free from home. But yes, at the moment of seperation, right before I come
out, I am aware that my body is where it really is, but when I come out I am
always at some distant place. I know there is a reason for this and I thank
you for sharing suggestions and information. Seriously thank you!

   Hey Brian, thanks for sharing.

Syncronistically, I just experience a spontaneous projection that
started about 10 feeta way from my physical body. Several things can
   explain this:

   A) In the OBE state you are not bound by time and space as you are in
the physical, so teleportation is possible. You can simply directly
project to that position. If you do it all the time, it is likely some
thought, idea, or belief you hold that motivates you to do this.

   B) You project and travel there at the bidding of a thought or
intention of yours, immediately after you project, and become fully
aware at that location. Due to the freedom I mentioned earlier, you
can travel VERY quickly, so can get to very far places in moments even
if traveling through space to get there.

Potential solutions, if you want to change this:

   A) Investigate into yourself and see: do you have some kind of fear at
the idea of being close to your physical body, OBE? Are you around an
area or landmark you have been thinking about, or have had a longing
to go to recently or in the past? Start focusing instead on being near
your physical body - or nearer to it.

   B) Do you experience any kind of movement sensations before you notice
yourself where you end up? Try to pay closer attention and see if this
is so. If you do start becoming aware of movement sensations prior,
you'll start becoming more aware during a state of very vague
awareness during the movement sensation period. You'll become more and
more aware as you practice this, until you are aware during
   separation.

   Your thoughts on this please.
