   My guess is that there is some strong link between you and the places   
   you awaken in. This link pushes you away from your current   
   geographical location. Maybe some past life experiences ?   
      
   On the other hand, the fact that your mind wanders a lot while you are   
   awake surely contributes. I would suggest to control a little bit your   
   thoughts. Maybe read one of the books of Echart Tolle, "The power of   
   now" or "A new world".
