   *YEARS* ago, back in the BBS days (*before* AOL!) there was a person who
   bemoaned their condition relentlessly, contemplating suicide and all those
   other negative acts. I said (wrote): "Go ahead and just do it! No one wants
   to hear you sit around and
   complain all day" (or words to that effect.) We never heard from that person
   again.

   These days, I have a slightly different, if not perhaps "better" perspective:
   In the South, we have a saying: "It's all good." -- basically, it's saying (in
   math terms) that:
   Life = |Life|
   If you know anything about absolute values, you know that whether an
   experience is good *or* bad, whether a number is positive *or* negative, it's
   "absolute value" is positive. Whether you own $5 or owe $5, the absolute
   value of
   {+\-} $5.oo is |+/-$5.oo| = $5.oo

   So if you apply that to Life, then no matter *what* you experience, it *adds*
   to your experience, and therefore, is good. "It's all good." Try it for a
   week and see if your life improves.
