From: dicksilk@gmail.com              I believe you're accurately reporting what you perceive. My question goes to       this point: are you accurately perceiving what you are self-programming, or       are you inaccurately perceiving a symbol of something or someone else?              Example:        You tell yourself "I want to experience contact with another race" -- so       your mind creates another race and presents it to you, which you accurately       report.        Now compare this to: "I want to experience contact with another race" -- so       any *human* contact you have in reality is being perceived as contact with an       alien.              Observation:        My holy grail of OOBEs is to float above my body, see my body, my room, and       my entire surrounding environment in perfect astral light. That is, I want to       achieve an OOBE state that is a perfect transmission of perception to mind,       with perception being        the perception of *this* plane of physical reality. In over 30 years of       practice, I've yet to achieve a satisfactory level of 100% astral control.              Suggestion:       I figure that if/when I can achieve a "perfect float" that tells me I am, in       fact, in complete and accurate connection and control of my astral body,       *then* I will be able to trust anything perceived from an astral / dream       form. So although you're        achieving success with aliens, I would suggest you work on perfect control of       *existing* reality before moving on to alternative ones.              Reasoning:       I've found over the years that my dreams / visions / experiences are *largely*       predictive. For example, two recent visions (in the past 2 years) of a Giant       Buddha holding in a pinched manner the tail of a jumbo passenger jet *twice*       has resulted in        subsequent reports in the news media of crashed Malaysian jets. They're not       clearly cause and effect, but the imagery is clearly correlative.       An astral experience once put me in the position of female's body about to       give birth--I could FEEL something like a bowling ball about to "break"       directly between my legs. Later that day, my sister gave birth a few weeks       earlier than expected. These        are but two of countless examples; my point is, be sure to look for       "analogies" where your experience with an "alien" may in fact be a correlation       to an experience later that day with someone who "believes" in aliens. It's       called "astral masquerade" --        where a person appears cloaked in the representation of an idea being       discussed. If someone believed in Pixies and Fairies, for example, they would       encounter each other in dreams *as* pixies or fairies. So my suggestion,       again, is to seek perfect        clarity in reality *before* seeking the far-out variations of reality. Either       way, good luck.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
