   Yes, I was granted the Ph.D. in May 2018. During the pandemic   
   I haven’t been applying for many postdocs or academic positions   
   or positions with technical companies but I may get at that again   
   soon, though now there may be more opportunity in applying   
   geophysics to environmental and geotechnical problems than in   
   the oil industry. But for now I am still classed as a part-time   
   research assistant and should get a few hours collaborating on a   
   new scientific paper that extends some of the results of my thesis.
