   well heating for the next 100 years at least is locked in,   
   because most of it has been absorbed by the oceans. its like   
   boiling water, takes a while but when you stop the heat, it   
   doesnt go back to room temperature instantly.   
      
   regarding the solutions, i think anything short of stopping   
   civilization like those extinction people say is something that   
   can be done.
