The "Science" comes into play when       it comes time to test this hypothesis.              Two two massive problems here is that all evidence is interpreted       strictly within the terms of the pre existing conclusion -- the       a-priori assumption -- AND that conclusion remains intact no matter       how badly it is falsified.              And this isn't new. It's been the case for generation, your whole       life. I got into a knock down, dragged out flame war over in       talk.origins on the topic of Neanderthal interbreeding (nobody       agreeing with me that they did) and yet the physical evidence in       the fossil remains was already generations old. AND THEN the DNA       evidence came along and everyone flip flopped, agreed with the       folks like me, still hated us for saying stupid things like "They       interbred," and still clung to every last belief they had held       before they were handed the proof of interbreeding...              I spelled it out for you already:              Paleo anthropology is a fake science. It refuses to adhere to       scientific methods. Instead, it is one giant selection and/or       preservation and/or sample bias.              We don't even get into the circular idiocy of beginning with their       conclusion. No, it fails as a science before we even reach that       far.                                          --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/tagged/The%20Book%20of%20JTEM/page/5              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
