You lack understanding.              MATH deals in proofs, science does not.              > 3) Peer-reviewed research              "Peer review" doesn't even exist in many cases. They use A.I.       and all of it's flaws. Regardless, the debate BEGINS with       publication. You can't grasp this, believing that publication       ends debate.              A paper gets published AND THEN the debate begins!              There are countless examples of garbage papers meeting the       standards of "Peer review." Unfortunately there is no way       to guess at the number of solid works denied using the       excuse of "Peer review." I am aware of one, a letter written       by a researcher into the Oral Vaccine Theory on the origins       of AIDS in Africa, but my learning about that was more or       less a fluke. When a good paper is killed using "Peer       review" then, as a rule, it vanishes. Only the stinking       garbage that passed muster and was published can be counted.                            --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/tagged/The%20Book%20of%20JTEM/page/5              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
