Actually it started in the 70’s when reconsidering the events of the day.
It was the beginning of the rise of greater evil under the guise of free
love. LSD, and other drugs came in like a flood. It was a counter movement of
the Evil one against the rise of the youth turning to Jesus. Some called it
   the Jesus Movement. IIRC.
