   > the land” or a "darkness covered the all the land”

Irrelevant. The whole earth, or whole land, was dark from noon to 3pm.
Now how do you think that happened?

So you admit it wasn't a solar eclipse. Did the sun turn off? The
"firmament" became opaque? No explanation besides "magic"?

Robert, now that we've established there wasn't an eclipse during the
   crucifixion, what caused the darkness?

Then we'll move on to the earthquake and the zombies.

   > taken place, beating their breasts for grief, were returning."
   >
   > Luke was not a Jew.

Why bring up another irrelevant factoid? If Luke existed, he was greek.

   > > Not only that, the magic eclipse happened at the time of a full moon.
   >
   > You keep repeating that statement, which is absurdly false. Why?

Because it shows there was no eclipse, or else the gospels are wrong,
both of which you have previously denied.

Jesus was in Jerusalem for Passover, as the gospels say. There will
always be a full moon on Passover night. Jesus was crucified within a
couple days of Passover. Solar eclipses can only happen at a new moon.

Apparently you have abandoned the idea of the darkness being caused by a
solar eclipse, so it's moot point. There is hope for you yet!
