        Very limited options. The Bible claims Noah was the only good and   
   decent person on the whole planet (that's not how it's worded, but I   
   hope I made my point). If the only candidate, and his family, have a   
   lot of genetic issues, you have to go with them.   
        But, then, why wouldn't a god with such power just heal them? If   
   these people are worthy of being saved from the destruction of nearly   
   all life on the planet, why wouldn't this deity cure them of the   
   genetic issues they have?
