   There is a big difference between a belief and a fact.   
      
   A fact is an actual event or piece of information that is   
   verifiable and supported by evidence, existing independently   
   of personal conviction. A belief, however, is a personal

   placed in something, whether it's supported by evidence or   
   not. The core difference lies in verifiability: facts can be   
   proven or disproven, while beliefs are personal and can't be   
   objectively confirmed.
