   Then let me answer my question for you.  The reason(s) that we do not   
   freeze to death at night is because our World has oceans, lakes, land,   
   and especially, an atmosphere that retains heat from the previous days,   
   weeks, months, years, decades, centuries, etc.  Such is referred to as   
   being the "greenhouse effect."
