   Popular science media like to portray these experiments as having   
   interference patterns present, or not present on screens, and arguing   
   for retro causality.   
      
   In reality, no interference patterns appear on screens, inter-alia,   
   because there are no screens.   
      
   The interference patterns are plots produced by analysing the recorded   
   data, which can only be done after the data has been recorded.
