   Every religious fanatic in the world should be made to watch Carl Sagan's   
   'blue dot'...earth as seen from the rings of Saturn [from voyager space craft   
   I believe].  It puts into context how small we are...and though we may   
   contemplate things like this    
   universe, looking down from such a far away perch surely shrinks our   
   egotistical personification of higher forces [like gods or God or pantheistic   
   panacea].  But I do sympathize with the radical zealot [religious]...as I   
   sympathize with all of us...for    
   we all seek meaning however we can, no matter how we twist our brains into   
   pretzels in the attempt over many generations.  It's not that we should just   
   leave behind our belief systems, but realize we have bigger fish to fry   
   perhaps...say in upcoming AI...   
   that promises to UNDO all TRUTH and information...
