I dunno Illya. I am old now. My life experience suggests to me that women,
by and large, carry a far greater responsibility in life for in some ways,
they carry our very SOUL as a being. We've all heard that behind every great
   man is a greater woman.
That addage rings true for my observations in life...only it goes far deeper
than just mating. Starting with Mothers, to sisters, to female schoolmates,
to girl friends, ending up in that special someone as a mate...a man's
   character, his foundational
integrity, and most enduring...his CONFIDENCE is shaped by all these
interactions through life [at least to maturity]. A man's POTENTIAL can be
made or broken...by womanhood [and no, unlike Jimmy Buffet sings, it's only
Partially my 'own damn fault', ha]
   .

Can it be said the same for Women?

One reason for bowery row [those dark back alleys of homeless wretches, mostly
male]...is that SUCCESS in a man's spirit is measured by his successes with
that womanhood, by and large...and of course, that plays in his general
   ability to provide and
protect. Surely there are some 'stronger' men that can overcome early
disappointments, rejections, and put downs and go on to be a success in life.
But even here, one might wager some minimally POSITIVE input from womanhood,
   perhaps in their mothers or
sisters or others along the way. Truth is, men MUST perform in life...or risk
that bowery row or some other addictive anti-life behaviors to compensate.
   MEN PERFORM.

   WOMEN...on the other hand...CHOOSE.
Some would poo poo all this of course, and though an oversimplification, I do
think this simplification comes closest to the truth between the sexes. Men
Perform, Women Choose. Proof of this, is that a woman can go into the
   workplace, and fail
miserably...and still be a high choice for mating [if she remains physically
attractive]. If a man fails in the workplace, his mating prospect sinks
proportionally. As Jorden Petersen quite accurately depicts, women only marry
   up, not down. Men marry
down, or sideways, but not UP [as to social status]. As a man 'falls' his
choices diminish [just a logic mathematical reality].

By the SELECTIONS that women choose, so also do they inherently create the
general character of MEN...those who might fullfill their potential from those
who might...well, never even know of their potential. I'm sure there is some
   reciprocal impact for
women from the men in their live [especially fathers perhaps]...but as I see
it from these aging eyes that's now seen quite a bit in life, it is WOMEN who
carry the very responsibility of what we will be [through the men they select,
   and help create].

In post modern times, it seems to me that a great twisted miscreant mindset
has taken hold of womanhood now, where they now actively, in many respects,
actually seek to destroy manhood. This too is a selective aura, where perhaps
   only the malcreants
CHARACTER arises...those malevolent, corrupt, and socially psychopathic are
the only character that can SURVIVE. For this...well, what character of this
type have we historically deemed it to BE?
