|    From rail guns to the universe and what     |

From: banerjeeadda1234@gmail.com              2023 coming to and end, some thoughts about this and that...       It has been a good year for me, for at last there is no mockery from online       participants in the Usenet newsgroups about my rail gun experiments that show       inertia violation. At this rate, I may even see the first ship to go to the       stars before I die. And        lots of ships going to the Moon on a daily basis, just for people to jump ten       feet up the surface!       Why the huge, gobal antipathy to my new work in physics, was something I could       not understand back in the period of 2000 - 2003, when my new formula       e=0.5mvvN(N-k) non-destructively linking matter and energy, as an alternative       to the e=mcc of Einstein,        was published.        I have a better idea now, for the reason for such antipathy has nothing to do       with physics, but theology. My formula has it that energy is always created       and destroyed. Now, it needs an infinite universe for that to work. Like, any       cup we drop to the        ground becomes creates heat energy as it breaks up; that heat is radiated out       into the universe.... the distances between stars and galaxies is so large,       that all energy created from everywhere becomes constant at all points of the       universe manifesting        as cosmic background radiation. The universe indeed has to be infinite for       that to happen, to swallow up all the energies to their destruction, through       sheer intergalactic distance. The wonderful space telescopes (Hubble, Webb)       show no boundary to the        universe - only more and more galaxies, implying that the universe is       infinite.        However an infinite universe also implies an eternal universe, and that goes       directly against the creationist theology of the world's most powerful       religions. So, the problem I am facing is not about science, but theology. No       matter how loudly the        established scientists proclaim their atheism or disdain for religion, they       know very well that they are funded by the religious people! Who wants to       risk careers, risk fames and moneys?!       It would appear that in the present-day India, with a pro-Hindu government,       there should be some support for my new physics which boosts what is eternal       or SANATANA as the most fundamental aspect of the universe. Maybe, that       support will come one day! At        the present, I find the 3-monkey situation prevailing with respect to my       works. But who knows what may happen in 2024!        Which brings me to a crucial point - the secularism of India. Is this       secularism just anti-Hinduism in pseudo-scientific garb, or something else?       Whom to ask? For me, the most revered guru is the father; so what did my       father have to say about        secularism?       The scene shifts to our flat in Ranchi, around 1980 or so. My father had       decided to join the Bharat Sevashram Sangha as a lay worker, after retirement.       Two monks from BS were present at our house, and they asked my father why       India should NOT be a Hindu        state.        My father's reply was most illuminating for me. He said that Hindus did not       know their religion. So there were many different interpretations and       opinions, Which aspect was correct? Who would decide what was correct? And       how? There were so many frauds,        impostors, gasbags who would grab prominence and with their badness reduce,       corrupt and demean the most wonderful Vedic religion of our ancestors. What       could be worse that to find what you love and treasure reduced to nonsense,       and liars and thieves        profit from such debasement? Only when Hindus become much more mature and       united, kindly and successful, should the Hindus of India declare India to be       a Hindu state, if indeed they then think that to be necessary.        As I remember, the monks were astonished and impressed. My father did join the       BSS and worked for them and similar Hindu institutions till he died at the age       of 92.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
