Hard to say due, well, misrepresentation. See also: lying. To me
most of what appears to be good in the human realm is what appears to
be individuals - which is rather synonymous to "egos" to me - who've
essentially lost their individuality, leaving a more spontaneous
behavior in accord with what's left sans the ego veneer. Beneath
that, there are individuals/egos "putting on a good show" when
others are looking/present (but, of course, that show is rooted in
self-interest/gain), and then "all out" individuals/egos incapable
of seeing the value in the aforementioned pretense, thereby becoming
a-social/anti-social in ways the others find necessary to attempt
to attenuate via laws, law enforcement, prisons, etc.
