   Losing their "self" implies there no longer being a receiver to   
   be on the end of such. That's the only effective solution, and   
   a variety of religions/ways already prescribe it. It's a matter   
   of becoming sufficiently tired of one's seemingly self-centric   
   existence by seeing it wasn't there to begin with save in mind.
