I've a friend from high school days who regularly complains
about perpetually feeling compelled to openly pretend that
men and women are "equal" per modern liberal dogma. He
basically goes on and on about how much less - in his
own experience/reality - women are than men, and yet
wants to remain a member of the
let's-pretend-things-about-reality-and-then-go-on-
to-congratulate-ourselves-to-each-other-for-having-
elevated-pretence-to-the-level-of-reality party,
I imagine for some kind of personal benefit that
exceeds the cognitive dissonance misery he
claims to be regularly experiencing.
Unfortunately, he doesn't seem capable of understanding he's
railing - not to mention transgressing - against what might
be called the first commandment of the modern liberal religion. He
embraces an ideology demanding openly displayed acceptance thereof,
and then becomes mystified when suffering in that pretence due to
the reality itself perpetually lifting its middle finger to that
dogma in the course of simply being what truly is.
What's extra sadly funny about that state of affairs is that
the gullible morons clinging to such manufactured-reality dogma
*themselves* attest to the bullshit of the situation by inventing
even *more* genders - whose alleged existence/reality consists
utterly of people identifying therewith.
To wit: why do you need to create new language/terms/labels
to distinguish between what you claim to believe are EQUALS?
The answer is that they're trying to have it both ways. They want
to be seen as "woke" by droning on the equality mantra, but clearly
don't believe it, as evidenced in their insistence that "equals"
be referred to by difference-rooted gender terminology.
